The 31-year-old “Sorry” singer recently responded to a heartfelt Instagram prayer written by his mom, Pattie Mallette, who shared a moving message asking God to “heal every wound” in her son’s life.
“I declare freedom, strength, clarity, and healing over you Justin,” Pattie wrote on September 22, alongside black-and-white photos of the pop star.
Her emotional post sparked a wave of fan support, many praising her as a loving and protective mother. Others, however, questioned whether Justin was struggling privately, given his recent cryptic online activity.
This week, Justin finally addressed it—with humor. “Only thing I need healing from is my rolled pinky toe from playing ping pong,” he commented.
The light-hearted response suggests that the “Peaches” singer is in good spirits. Over the past month, Bieber released his new album Swag II, celebrated his seventh anniversary with wife Hailey, and threw a first birthday party for their son, Jack Blues.
