During a conversation with Trap Lore Ross, DJ Akademiks reportedly shared a story he heard from Adam22 about Drake’s treatment of the women who participated in the 20v1 experience. According to the story, the Toronto superstar made sure nearly everyone involved received a lavish gift—but one participant was initially overlooked.
The 20v1 episode ultimately ended with Pinkchyu winning a house for her mother, but Drake apparently wanted to make sure the other women weren’t forgotten. According to Akademiks, everyone else involved received something substantial, leaving one woman as the exception.
Once Drake realized what had happened, he reportedly gave her his credit card and told her to go shopping with members of his team. She was apparently free to purchase whatever she wanted.

According to Akademiks, the woman eventually spent approximately $30,000. Rather than being upset about the amount, Drake’s reaction was reportedly one of surprise that she hadn’t spent more.
The story adds another layer to recent conversations about Drake’s approach to spending money on women. The rapper has faced accusations of being a “trick,” but he has pushed back against that characterization, saying that he simply enjoys making people feel good.
Akademiks also highlighted just how much money Drake is capable of spending without it necessarily becoming a major financial burden. He claimed Drake’s private jet costs approximately $100,000 each time it takes off, putting the reported $30,000 shopping trip into perspective.
This isn’t the only example of Drake giving away major prizes. At his Strong Women Stronger Drinks event on August 4, guests reportedly had opportunities to win luxury items, including a Maybach that one woman took home.
