Jamere William Edward Toy (born September 6, 2002), known professionally as Lor_Kreny, is an American rapper, YouTuber, record producer, singer and songwriter. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and resides there. He has released two studio albums.
In 2019, he went by the stage name “Lor_Kreny” and created his first single “Anti-Illuminati” while in High School. While attending, he got bullied for this song, as students didn’t feel it. This would only motivate him to take down the debut single, as well as rethink his choice of a career, until he met his first mentor Vicious D.
Vicious taught Kreny how to work on his artistic craft in lyricism, giving Kreny more motivation to continue writing lyrics & making music, as well as learning how to rap. In addition to the start of his solo career, he met the one producer that would change his career forever, and his name is 24beats.
Eminem, Kendrick, Logic, The Weeknd, Migos, & S+C+A+R+R, are Kreny’s current inspirations for music ideas. These 4 artists has always had a significant impact on Kreny, as S+C+A+R+R has made the most recent impact on Kreny musically, which made Kreny realize that hip-hop isn’t the only genre he wants to participate in.
In 2021, Kreny secured his first major feature with the iconic lyricist from New York City & Arizona, Murkemz. The track is called “What We Came From” with Murkemz, & OG Verbs as the featured artists. The track accumulated over 4.5k Spotify streams, but isn’t even his most popular track which is “Solo”. The track singe “Solo” accumulated over 16k streams, and is his most listened single to this day.
Lor_Kreny has released 2 studio albums. His debut album is “Two Sides” which received over 10k streams, and was released on 2021. His second, more successful album is “Upbound” performing 4 times better than his debut album, which accumulated over 42k streams and was released in 2022, with little to no promotion.
Lor_Kreny is proof that any odds can be defied, and that you can choose to be great. Question is, how far are you willing to go, and how hungry are for this?
