Independent Artist Deraj is a giant in the music industry. Working with huge artists and being featured on enormous platforms, such as ESPN, Call Of Duty, and numerous movies. He has done more than enough to solidify his spot in the big leagues. With hit records such as “Hold You Down” and “Watching” which collectively has over 4 Million streams at the time of this recording, Deraj successfully struck a nerve and found himself mentioned with some of Christian Hip-Hop’s great’s. We spoke with Deraj and asked him who are his inspirations, he replied “Kanye, Pharrell, Childish Gambino, Andre 3000, and Lecrae”. Such a creative and versatile group of artists to be inspired by. It all changed when he locked in with Award-Winning Artist and Producer Derek Minor, Deraj says that Derek is one of the more talented guys he has ever met. Deraj has traveled the world, accumulated thousands of fans and has never changed from the humble guy he’s always been.
