My name is Riley, “Ri” for short
Where are you from?
I’m from a little town outside of Knoxville, Tennessee
When did you start making music?
First started in 2015 but didn’t take it seriously until the beginning of 2019
Who’s your inspirations?
My biggest inspiration musically is probably Isaiah Rashad, he was a small town Tennessee kid like me and made it out, he paved the way for kids like me.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully I’ll be back in Knoxville paving the way for the music scene there
What are your other hobbies outside of music?
I’m in the Navy so I really have no time for hobbies other than music outside of work, if I’m not making music I’m studying music
If you could tell the younger you something, what would it be?
You’re going to get knocked down, it’s about how to respond is what matters
Who is an artist you’d love to collab with?
I’d love to collab with Pierre Bourne, he’s really driven my production style
Who’s your favorite artist of all time and why?
That’s a tough one, I have to keep it within Tennessee and say either Isaiah Rashad or Young Dolph (Rest In Peace to a legend)
What’s next for you?
Currently I’m working on a project with a handful of artists to try to expand my comfort zone and overall increase my reach within the music, be on the lookout for that coming early next year
