Lil Peep’s Estate Drops New Version of “JUST IN CASE” to Celebrate Fans

Lil Peep’s estate has officially dropped a refined version of the much-loved track “JUST IN CASE,” a song that has been circulating among fans as one of his most treasured unreleased gems. The new version is creating a wave of excitement, with many calling it one of his best songs that never made it to an official album.

Since Lil Peep’s tragic passing, his mother, Liza Womack, has worked tirelessly to manage his musical legacy. However, not all fans or collaborators have always aligned in their approach to handling his unreleased work. One of those involved was SinceWhen, a frequent collaborator with Peep and member of Money Posse, who leaked unreleased music, including “JUST IN CASE.” This stirred some drama, as Liza reportedly asked that these tracks remain unpublished, but they eventually made their way into the public sphere. A major leak happened after SinceWhen played the track at Hoodfest in Finland, and another leak spread through Discord years later.

Despite the controversies, this official release of “JUST IN CASE” offers fans a chance to hear the track in its full, polished form, adding another cherished piece to Lil Peep’s legacy while giving listeners a chance to celebrate his distinctive style and emotional depth.
