A Sit Down With Neon BLK

Where is one place you want to travel to perform?

One place I want to travel to perform is The UK. I think people there who
are into the neo-soul and jazz scene would appreciate my music.
Honestly, wouldn’t mind performing in Toronto and Italy either.

What’s the biggest crowd that you have performed for?

The biggest crowd I’ve performed for was at the 2021 Concert Crave
that was hosted at The White Oak in Houston, Texas.

Who’s someone you can see yourself on tour with?

One person I could see myself on tour with is Lianne la Havas. She’s
my favorite singer of all time.

Who produces your music?

I’ve gotten plenty of tracks from a plethora of producers like mndbd,
Doc. Gold Grill, drowse, K Rain, JORDY., and plenty more.
I have also recently started producing my own tracks as well.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years, I see myself on tour selling out shows and consistently
putting out iconic records. I also see myself using my potential influence to

help change things in Houston for the better, and assisting positive
organizations that are also helping my people in the city as well.

What’s your favorite clothing brand?

I don’t really have a particular favorite brand of clothing. Not really
big on name brand like that but Ben Sherman Men’s clothing is pretty dope.

Where do you shop?

I haven’t shopped much for clothes in awhile but Dillard’s is a go to
spot.

What’s your favorite type of car?

My favorite type of car for me would be a Jeep Grand Cherokee
because I like bigger sized cars and it would be better for travel.

What’s your favorite place to travel to?

My favorite place I have traveled to was Beijing, China. It was in
college for a performance festival we were all apart of when I was in Opera
Workshop. It was a great experience and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
