Monroe, Louisiana’s Own Rashawn Doyle (Stage name:ShawnG)

Rashawn Doyle or more professionally known as ShawnG is representing Monroe, Louisiana to the fullest.ShawnG started writing music at the age of 13, then started to record when he was 17. He takes his career very seriously. ShawnG stated “I’m very serious about my career. I’ve been trying to at least get exposure and shows for a while. I have receipts from everything I’ve just about done. I feel like I’ve done what I could to the best of my ability to get my music out there with what I had. Since I was a kid my family knew music was my thing. I used to plug 9 speakers into one receiver and blast the music from my granny window, 2Pac and Bone Thugs were the first rap artists I started to listen to, then Crucial Conflict, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang. Anyone that’s hungry like me and someone that goes hard. I know I can reach the level with some of the greats. I just have to have that opportunity.
