Where did your name come from?
- My name was 1st Lady Malign. I changed it because I didn’t want to have a name close to another female rapper, I wanted my own identity. I know I’m different so I came different. LYRYK stands for “L.earning Y.et R.ealizing Y.ou’re K.nowledge” , “L.eading Y.ou R.ight and Y.ou K.now It”, and “L.ove Y.a R.hythm Y.ou K.now”. LYRYK is me through and through. There is music without lyryks and there is without music. I bring them both together.

What is your latest release?
-“True Phoenix” is my latest release. I released my single on 10/4/2021 and I knew my journey had already started. The moment I was ready to post it and get it out there social media apps just wanted to crash! Talk about setting the internet on fire!
When is your next release?
-My next release will be in November. Its only right!

-I’m definitely the type to pull up alone. Yup definitely me. I’m alone all the time anyway. What’s so different with going out?
