Interview With Rising Haitian Music Producer Claudy Beats!

What is your name/stage name?
A: Claudy Beats

Where are you from?
A: I’m from Haiti.

What do you do?
A: I’m a music producer.

How long have you been making music?
A: I have been making music since 2018, but I took that serious
in 2020 when I found out that was my passion and I decided to pursue it.

Who’s your biggest inspiration?
A: Chuki beats, Ysos, Kato on the track and Jake Strain are my biggest
inspiration…Because I remember seeing a tweet of Jake saying that he
would start a company and it didn’t even take months but he made it
happen — That was a big inspiration for me too that keeps me going.

What genre of music do you create?
A: I mostly create trap, hip-hop, afrobeat, rnb, dancehall and kompa.

What was it like working with (collabs?)
A: It was a great pleasure to work with Azazus on a track called “Whiplash”
and Bob Cailloux…And many more. I also had the opportunity to collab with
the very known entrepreneur, and creator Lillee Jean.

Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?
A: I would want to work with Moneyman, Lil Baby, Coi Leray, and Jackboy…

Are you signed to a label?
A: No, I am not.

Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?
A: None

Who are your biggest supporters?
A: Friends on social media

Where did your name come from?
A: My name comes from Claudy which is my first name and beats
for the producer name which becomes Claudy Beats.

What are you currently working on?
A: I am working on a lot right now, but I don’t like
talking, I’d prefer not saying.

What is your latest release?
A: My lastest release is called “A Whole Snack”
available on all streaming platform.

When is your next release?
A: Well, soon. But, I can’t tell the exact time.
