Q: Thank you so much for doing this with us! Can you tell us the story of how you grew up?
A: I was born and raised in Albany. I grew up indulging into anything that sparked my attention like, Music, Karate, & Basketball. Music really was the first thing that the earth offered me that i gravitated towards naturally.
My parents only listened to the classics so ima huge MJ, Prince, Sade & Temptations fan.
Q: Can you share a story with us about what brought you to this specific career path?
A: It was right before i graduated in 2013 from high school that i decided to take on the business portion of the industry. I got tired of getting the same results as an artist and wanted to figure out how you become “Lit”.
Q: Can you tell us the most interesting story that happened to you since you began your career?
A: I really cant even tell yall the most interesting thing that I’ve gone through. Its too crazy for the average viewer. I would say that working at warner brothers records for a year helped me learn far more then i even could fathom at that time. I now innerstand all of those situations.
Q: What are some of the most interesting or exciting projects you are working on now?
A: Right now im working with a few artist helping brand their careers properly & distribute music. This is really exciting to me because this is my calling. Helping others!
Q: Who are some of the most interesting people you have interacted with? What was that like? Do you have any stories?
A: Lil Pumps manager Dooney of Tha Lights Global was the most interesting person ive met so far. Knowing his backstory and where he is now is inspirational to someone in my niche of business. It was a very fruitful experience learning from him and his team. Traveling with them along side Lil Pump helped me see how everything works behind the scenes and the work thats put in to be able to maneuver strategically.
Q: Where do you draw inspiration from? Can you share a story about that?
A: I get my inspiration from the ones whom i see myself in. Exactly what i was explaining about Dooney is what inspires me. Seeing people that remind me of myself and what they have accomplished.
Q: How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
A: After all the years of working, building connections, & networking i utilize all of that to help expand any brands or musicians career.
Q: None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story about that?
A: Ima real dude so ima let ya know that i wouldn’t be where i am now or have the knowledge i have now if it wasn’t for Rojasonthebeat. Despite business not being handled accordingly between us. The opportunity that was given to me was something i would always be grateful for.
Its just my time to be the boss and be the one making sure everyone is good around me.
