50 Cent Kicks Off the New Year by Trolling Papoose in Hilarious Social Media Showdown

50 Cent welcomed the New Year in classic fashion — by stirring the pot and taking aim at one of his rap rivals. The G-Unit boss sparked a fresh round of online chaos this week after poking fun at Papoose and his much-talked-about relationship with boxing champion Claressa Shields.

The tension kicked off when 50 shared a now-deleted Instagram post featuring an edited breakup scene from the movie Black Sister’s Revenge. In the clip, the faces of Papoose and Claressa Shields were superimposed onto the characters, with Shields’ character slapping her on-screen partner. Never missing a chance to troll, 50 captioned the post with a sarcastic take on “assault,” before signing off with a cheeky New Year’s greeting.

Papoose wasn’t amused — and he wasted no time firing back. The Brooklyn rapper responded by posting an AI-generated video of 50 Cent dancing and twerking in a strip club, dressed in a bikini top, short shorts, and high heels. Alongside the clip, Papoose accused 50 of dodging smoke from Fabolous, Jim Jones, Maino, and Dave East, who recently took shots at Fif in a freestyle after he mocked their Let’s Rap About It podcast.

Taking things further, Papoose challenged 50’s reputation, questioning whether the Queens rapper was more about “fight or flight,” and even tossing in a jab about ghostwriting.

As expected, 50 Cent didn’t back down. Leaning fully into his role as rap’s chief instigator, he clapped back by mocking Papoose’s taste in women and laughing off the AI video. He followed up with another post poking fun at Papoose’s hairline, adding yet another layer to the escalating exchange.

Still, Papoose wasn’t finished. He responded with yet another AI-generated clip — this time showing 50 dancing in the shower while wearing a pink bikini top and towel. In the caption, he accused 50 of gossiping too much, questioned why he still hadn’t responded to Let’s Rap About It, and urged him to make peace with Lloyd Banks.

Judging by this back-and-forth, the rivalry is far from over. If anything, 50 Cent seems more than happy to carry his “pettiest rapper alive” reputation straight into 2026 — and social media is clearly enjoying every second of it.
