KJ Culcleasure, also known as YCM Houdini, is a rising artist in the hip-hop and R&B genre. He has been making music since the summer of 2016, and has been constantly working on his craft ever since. In an interview with Gen Z Hiphop, KJ talks about his inspiration, music style, supporters, and future plans.
One of the most interesting things about YCM Houdini is that he works a full-time job to provide for his music. When he’s not working, he’s in the studio constantly working on his music. He takes inspiration from his daughter, as he wants her to have a better life than he did.
YCM Houdini creates hip hop and R&B music and has a solo song called “Stank” on SoundCloud. His first project is “Smoking With My Demons.” He is inspired by Wiz Khalifa, and he would love to work with him someday. YCM Houdini also mentioned that he only has features with his friends, but they are currently unreleased.
While he is not currently signed to a label, YCM Houdini hopes to have his own label someday. He is open to a record deal, but it has to be the right deal. He wants to learn and create his own, and his biggest supporters are his family and friends, who understand music and give him honest feedback.
