No Studio, No Limits Freaky Tlazy’s DIY Come-Up

Freaky Tlazy is proving that you don’t need fancy studios or big budgets to make impactful music. Hailing from Georgia, Travis Bernardo Yearby—better known as Freaky Tlazy—has been grinding independently, using raw emotion and real stories to connect with listeners.

His sound, which he calls “Tupacish,” blends heartfelt poetry with streetwise storytelling, painting vivid pictures of struggle, addiction, and survival. Whether recording on his phone or collaborating with rock bands and beatmakers, Freaky Tlazy stays authentic, letting his life experiences shape every bar.

Battling through addiction, homelessness, incarceration, and heartbreak, he’s found strength in music. His upcoming remix of “Burn” featuring Juice WRLD signals his next step forward, and he’s open to partnerships that respect his creative control.

With a dedicated fan base and a mission to reach those who feel unheard, Freaky Tlazy’s come-up shows there really are no limits when the passion is real.
