Kylie Kelce recently shared how she learned about her brother-in-law Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift.
During an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Kylie revealed that she first met Swift at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game in January 2024. When asked how Travis broke the news to his family, she admitted that there was no official announcement.
Podcast host Alexandra Cooper inquired whether the Kelce family had been informed directly about the romance. Kylie’s response? “We were not.”
Though she remained reserved about the specifics, Kylie did hint at some behind-the-scenes knowledge. “I will say, we knew before everyone else knew, but it was not, like … it did not hit the group chat.”
Cooper then questioned whether Kylie’s husband, Jason Kelce, had been the one to break the news to her. Kylie revealed, “Jase and I found out together,” blushing as she recalled the moment. Cooper quickly picked up on her reaction, leading to shared laughter between them.
Kylie confirmed that she and Jason were aware of Travis and Taylor’s relationship before the couple’s public debut at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears game on September 24, 2023.
She also touched on her first in-person meeting with Swift, which took place at the Chiefs vs. Bills game. Despite speculation that the two had avoided each other, Kylie made it clear that wasn’t the case.
“People are deeply disturbed by this,” she said, addressing the rumors. “There was all this stuff leading up to it about, ‘Well, why haven’t they met, they’re avoiding each other.’ I’m not avoiding anyone.”
Following the game, Kylie was seen posing for photos alongside Swift, model Cara Delevingne, and fellow Chiefs WAG Brittany Mahomes. The images quickly made their way online, sparking further buzz about the high-profile connection.
