A source told The Sun’s Bizarre column that Bieber’s team has been cautious about committing him to live dates. “His team are very keen not to overload him. But finally, bosses think they will be able to entice him back. It’s been a long time coming,” the insider said. Organizers are also reportedly hoping to book Bieber for BST Hyde Park’s sister event, the Roundhay Festival in Leeds.
Bieber last performed in the UK in December 2021, when he headlined Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball at London’s O2 Arena. In 2023, he was forced to cancel the UK leg of his Justice World Tour after being diagnosed with facial paralysis.
Despite his hesitancy around touring, Bieber is already set for a major return to the stage in April, headlining Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 11 and April 18 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. In late October 2025, he joined Twitch and shared behind-the-scenes footage of rehearsals for his Coachella set, offering fans a rare look into his preparation process.
A source close to Bieber told People that the Twitch streams reflect his renewed excitement. “Justin’s Twitch is his way of letting fans see that he’s excited and working hard for his headlining set at Coachella,” they said.
Still, Bieber has been open about his complicated relationship with touring. During a Halloween Twitch stream in 2025, he admitted that the idea feels overwhelming, especially after years on the road. “Touring takes so much out of you, and I’ve done it since I was a kid,” he said. He also noted how difficult it would be to leave his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their young son.
Rather than committing to long tours, Bieber has expressed interest in a more selective approach. “I really wanna do spot-dates where I pick a city and do a couple of shows and not commit to a whole two years,” he explained.
If the BST Hyde Park talks move forward, it could mark a carefully planned—and highly anticipated—return to the UK stage for one of pop music’s biggest stars.
