Montreal’s own Jon Moniz is more than a music artist — he’s a visionary producer shaping the sound of tomorrow. With two decades in the game, including ten years of quiet studio mastery, Moniz has built a reputation for crafting timeless melodies and unforgettable hooks. As a key member of WhyUS Entertainment, he bridges genres from hip hop and R&B to electro, funk, and house, creating a fusion that resonates across borders.
Moniz’s journey began with WhyUS Mixtapes Vol. 1–3, selling over 5,000 copies straight from the trunk — proof of his grassroots hustle and real fan connection. His upcoming 2026 album, Light Warrior, features two collaborations with The Game and an electro club anthem with French DJ Gatestone, supported by powerhouse producers K-Why?, Danny ILL, and Vagalam.
Currently independent, Moniz is exploring major distribution opportunities while continuing to grow his reach across Montreal and France, where his sound is gaining serious traction. His latest single, “Vivre de Paix” with WhyUS and French artist Timal Garnier, embodies his mission — spreading light, unity, and positivity through music.
With dreams of performing at Rolling Loud and sharing stages with icons like Drake, Bruno Mars, and Chris Brown, Jon Moniz is ready to rise from Montreal’s underground to the global spotlight. His message is clear: through the Light Warrior Nation, he’s promoting light over darkness — and he’s just getting started.
