French Montana’s Welcome’s DThang Gz Back Home

In a heartwarming display of loyalty and camaraderie, French Montana, the mastermind behind Coke Boys, rolled out the red carpet for Bronx rapper DThang Gz upon his release from prison on January 8. The celebration of freedom and the return to the hip-hop scene was marked by a thoughtful gift – a stylish CB chain presented by none other than Montana himself.

Sei Less, a buzzing NYC hotspot, served as the backdrop for this grand reunion between mentor and protégé. As French Montana draped the CB chain around DThang’s neck, the moment resonated with authenticity and solidarity. The night unfolded with more than just symbolic gestures; Montana generously handed the 21-year-old rapper cash for a shopping spree in the city’s upscale boutiques.

DThang Gz, born Daniel Collins, faced significant legal challenges in 2022, being among 34 alleged members charged in a sweeping indictment against the River Park Towers gang. Accusations ranged from conspiracy to commit murder to animal cruelty, painting a grim picture of the legal battles they encountered. Despite an initial sentencing of three to five years, DThang’s release adds a triumphant chapter to his story, defying the odds stacked against him.

French Montana, never one to shy away from supporting his comrades, took to Instagram Stories to tease fans with a snippet of DThang’s “first day out” freestyle as they hit the studio together. The infectious energy captured in the video exemplifies the resilience and creativity that defines the hip-hop spirit.

As the hip-hop community applauds DThang Gz’s return, French Montana keeps the anticipation alive with his upcoming project, “Mac & Cheese 5.” Originally scheduled for last week, the release has been pushed to March, promising a musical extravaganza featuring collaborations with industry heavyweights like Kanye West, Drake, and more. French Montana’s gesture of welcoming DThang Gz back into the fold not only cements their bond but also adds a chapter of inspiration to the ever-evolving narrative of hip-hop brotherhood.
