Drake’s Aussie Tour Gets Interrupted by Kendrick Lamar Fans Singing ‘Squabble Up’

When Drake decided to take his Antia Max Wynn Tour to Australia, he probably hoped to escape all the noise around Kendrick Lamar’s meteoric rise. But, as it turns out, Australia’s got its own way of reminding him who’s still causing a stir back home.

On Saturday, while Drake was attending a club event in Melbourne, local fans couldn’t help but blast Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Squabble Up,” sending a clear message that the beef between the two rap superstars is still alive. The video circulating online shows Drake clearly looking uncomfortable as the song blared in the background, no doubt a reminder of Kendrick’s five Grammy wins this year—including one for his hard-hitting track aimed at Drizzy, “Not Like Us.”

Even though Kendrick’s Super Bowl performance had all eyes on him in New Orleans, Drake isn’t slowing down on the other side of the world. His tour has him bouncing around Australia, including a recent show in Perth where he made quite the dramatic entrance. Walking through the crowd to the beats of “Over My Dead Body,” Drake rocked a hoodie with bullet holes, which some fans took as a clever response to Kendrick’s barbs.

The highlight of the show came when Drake got on the mic and made an iconic statement: “My name is Drake. I started in 2008. I came all the way from Toronto, Canada. The year is now 2025, and Drizzy Drake is very much still alive.” The crowd went wild in support, while Kendrick continued to stoke the fire in his own way—at the Grammys, he wore a Canadian tuxedo and dedicated an award to Los Angeles, all while the rivalry between him and Drake simmered just below the surface.

The tension between these two rap titans doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere soon, no matter where in the world they are. And whether they’re throwing jabs from the stage or making headlines for their fashion choices, one thing’s for sure: their battle for rap supremacy is far from over.
