Casiino Smooth is a main artist making a breakthrough again in 2021. Sometimes when you hear a song for that very first time, you just know. That was the case with ATL-based, Illinois-raised artist Casiino Smooth’s unconventional debut “Whoo Icy” record. It wasn’t about knowing that his sound was the next big thing, or that this track was a hit single, but there is a weight to this song that feels like the beginning of something important.
Now, as we move into mid-2021, Casiino is looking forward to finally putting his project out in the world. “I just hope that it brings something positive to people, especially because we’re putting it out during all this time of chaos and uncertainty. I hope my music lifts people up somehow, and makes them want to move,” he tells us.
Whenever he can travel freely again, he hopes to tour and share his songs in a more “collective human space.” But for now, in all the uncertainty of the world, Casiino is taking things one day at a time.@CasiinoSmooth
