50 Cent Reignites Feud With Floyd Mayweather Amid Comeback News

The long-running tension between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr. appears far from over. The two former friends have traded public shots for years, and the latest alleged jab from the G-Unit mogul only adds fuel to the fire.

According to reports circulating online, 50 Cent took to Instagram to mock Mayweather following news that the undefeated boxing legend is planning another return to the ring after a scheduled exhibition bout with Mike Tyson. Mayweather is also rumored to have signed an exclusive deal with CSI Sports/Fight Sports, signaling that he’s not quite ready to hang up the gloves for good.

In the alleged post, 50 reportedly suggested that Mayweather’s comeback is financially motivated, joking that he has to “box till ya drop.” While the post was said to have been deleted shortly after, it follows a familiar pattern. 50 has built a reputation for trolling rivals online — often posting sharp commentary and sometimes removing it before it gains too much traction.

This isn’t the first time 50 has publicly ridiculed Mayweather. Recently, he also poked fun at the boxer’s lawsuit involving Showtime Networks, tied to claims of financial misconduct involving a former manager. Despite the serious nature of the allegations, 50 showed little sympathy.

Their feud, however, wasn’t always this bitter. The two were once close friends and business partners before a failed venture reportedly strained their relationship. Since then, personal digs and financial accusations have become routine.

Meanwhile, 50 is also engaged in a separate feud with Jim Jones, proving that his list of rivals continues to grow. Whether Mayweather responds or lets the jab slide remains to be seen — but if history is any indication, this rivalry isn’t ending anytime soon.
