YSL Woody Reacts to Alleged Pooh Shiesty Video, Says Gucci Mane “Won”

YSL Woody has weighed in on the ongoing legal saga involving Gucci Mane and Pooh Shiesty after an alleged video connected to the case surfaced online.

The footage, which reportedly aligns with evidence described by federal prosecutors, allegedly shows moments from the January 2026 incident in Dallas that led to kidnapping, robbery, and extortion charges against Pooh Shiesty and several co-defendants. Prosecutors claim the video depicts Shiesty forcing the head of 1017 Records to sign paperwork releasing him from his recording contract while armed accomplices guarded the room.

Reacting to the circulating clip, YSL Woody took to social media with a blunt assessment of the situation, arguing that the alleged footage ultimately reflects more positively on Gucci Mane than anyone else.

“Aye, Gucci Mane… you won,” Woody said in a video shared online. He criticized the alleged actions shown in the footage, saying anyone who records themselves during the commission of a crime only hurts their own case. According to Woody, Gucci handled the situation “like a boss” and ultimately came out on top despite the ordeal.

The comments continue Woody’s history of discussing the case publicly. While he has previously expressed sympathy over Pooh Shiesty’s incarceration, he has also maintained that individuals must be held accountable for their alleged actions.

The criminal case stems from an alleged contract dispute between Pooh Shiesty and Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records. Federal prosecutors allege that what was supposed to be a business meeting at a Dallas recording studio escalated into an armed confrontation, during which Gucci Mane and other victims were allegedly robbed and forced to sign documents releasing Shiesty from his contract. Authorities say surveillance footage, witness testimony, cellphone data, and the alleged video all form part of the government’s evidence.

Neither Gucci Mane nor Pooh Shiesty has publicly commented on the alleged video itself.

The trial is currently expected to move forward in 2027, and it remains to be seen whether the emergence of the alleged footage will have any impact on the proceedings. In the meantime, Woody’s remarks have sparked fresh debate online, particularly among fans divided over Gucci Mane’s handling of the situation and the ongoing allegations surrounding Pooh Shiesty.
