Riccdayo Deezy: Clarksville’s Rising Persona in Rap, Trap, and Soul

Hailing from Clarksville, TennesseeShaun Carter, professionally known as Riccdayo Deezy, is quickly making a name for himself as both a CEO and artist in the modern music landscape. With a unique blend of rap, trap, and soul, Riccdayo Deezy refuses to be boxed into any single genre, crafting what he calls “persona music”—a sound that’s entirely his own.

Riccdayo’s journey into music began with pure passion. “Ever since my younger days—whether it was beats, freestyles, or watching my favorite rappers—I gravitated towards music,” he shares. While 2018 found him navigating both music and street life, it wasn’t until last year, when his brother P7 started rapping, that he fully committed: “I was like fucc it, let’s see what this do.”

His first recorded song, “DBG”, dropped in 2018, though many of his earliest works were freestyle experiments. Over the years, his sound has been shaped by influences such as Chief Keef, Playboi Carti, Young Thug, and Veeze, among others. These artists helped Riccdayo develop his signature style—a fusion of street-savvy energy and soulful melody.

Collaboration is a key part of his growth, with tracks alongside Evil Bastard from Georgia, his brother P7, and Sonnyman. Looking ahead, Riccdayo dreams of working with heavyweights like Chief Keef, Carti, Young Thug, Babyface Ray, and Soulja Boy—a reflection of the artists who continue to inspire him.

Currently aligned with MPE Da Label but taking an independent approach, Riccdayo Deezy is cautious about any deal: “The business gotta be right… gotta fit my vision and what I’m trying to do.” Behind the scenes, he runs his own promotions and balances writing between freestyles and structured lyrics, crafting music that’s as dynamic as it is personal.

Fans can catch his latest releases, “DaSamplerB4Bane” and “Sona$hit EP”, now available on SoundCloud, with his highly anticipated debut album, BANE, expected Spring/Summer 2026. While he hasn’t performed live yet, Riccdayo dreams big, aiming for stages in NYC, LA, Miami, or anywhere fans connect with his sound.

With no producer locked in yet but plans to find one soon, Riccdayo Deezy envisions a music career that’s not just about fame, but about building influence and respect in the industry. “Somewhere eating food with my name holding weight,” he says, painting a picture of a future where his artistry and vision fully intersect.
