Maxed Hip-Hop Caught Up With Alex Eozzah

What is your name/stage name?
My name is Alex Eozzah

Where are you from?
I am from St. Louis, MO

What do you do?
I do production for multiple vocalists in different
styles based on need, as well as my own independent work.

How long have you been making music?
I’ve been making music since around 2010 but
only seriously since 2015.

Who’s your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration has been 2010s dubstep (hooky, flux pavilion,
Cheshire) as well as a lot of heavy metal as I’m sure you’ll
hear from my drum rolls.

What genre of music do you create?
On my own my genre would be close to metalstep, some leaning
more towards dub and others metal.

What was it like working with (collabs?)/What are some features you have?
Working with Atari Jones has been amazing we are both so focused on creating
content we can really come up with some amazing sounds together! Having him
as a manager and one of my top collaborators has done a lot to push me forward!
Through him I developed a relationship with Lexa Terrestrial as
well who is an accomplished model as well as artist!

What are some features you want to get?
My top 5 for features I would want would be
Corpse Husband
Corey Taylor
Black mill
Purity Ring
Between the Buried and Me

Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?
Working with a dead person? I think I have to pick Charlie Chaplin tbh.

Are you signed to a label?
I have a corporate sponsor who is a label but they haven’t specifically
commissioned me yet as an artist under their ownership.

Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?
Ideally for me I would get a steady stream of artists to produce for from
my label and be in the backdrop and get a credit on the release. That’s
how I’ve been running it so far and it’s been going great. Help with
distribution would be nice as well.

Who are your biggest supporters?
My biggest supporters are my top collaborators who lend their talents to me
to create the work! I appreciate them all so much! Specifically my graphic
designer who came up with all my art! She’s amazing!

Where did your name come from?
My name is only half mine, the first name I was given but the last name is a
personal touch of my own.

What are you currently working on?
My current project is planning work with goldlyfe this coming summer on their
Columbia tour set (although I can’t attend) as well as setting up my next
series of singles with Lexa Terrestrial.
