They say great music comes from struggle – and KABE$ of West Palm Beach, Florida’s story is one of hard work & grind:
“I was born and raised in South Florida. I am a pool boy working for my father’s company. Since he needed heart surgery I have had to take over the business with my brother and we are both cleaning 90 pools each a week. He had successful surgery and is doing very well. The large workload and physical demand hasn’t stopped me a bit from working everyday to improve my craft and continue to create music. Everyday after work I will come home and record music.”
Priding himself on his originality, he told us:
“Not only do I create all the lyrics and make all the recordings, I work on making the beats with my brother and best friend. I also even learned skills in mixing and mastering and have fully mixed projects for small artists. All of this combined with my knowledge from playing and studying music throughout my life is what makes my music 100% homemade, original, and unique.”
