When I was about 13 years old I started learning guitar. I didn’t get serious about beat making or recording until about 16.
5. How serious are you about your career?
More serious than anything else I’ve experienced or put my mind to.
6. Have you ever thought about quitting music?
No. If you wanna be personal, it’s my only release. It is literally the thing that keeps me alive. Without it, I wouldn’t exist.
7. Who inspires you the most?
In terms of musical sound? I’d have to say Mac Miller, Lil Darkie, 2Pac, Juice WRLD, MF DOOM and Jack Harlow.
Mentality wise? Russ. That man has paved the way for independent artists to thrive. He gets a lot of hate for his personality, but there’s no way you can deny what he’s done for us independent artists.
8.What got you into making music?
I’ve always been involved in music. When I was a little kid my grandpa would always make up songs and play them on guitar. He taught me chords and such and even got me my first guitar ever. My dad also DJ’s and would let me record on mixes of his and such. My musical surrounding growing up has definitely influenced me.
9.Who is your favorite producer?
Of course you gotta respect Ye and Dre for what they’ve done to the foundation of production. I also get inspired by WENDIGO, 6in, and Madlib.
10. What is one of your best songs/beats?
Nose Breaker by far is my most energetic and aggressive track. I took the influences of rock and rap and produced them together. On top of that I engineered the vocals with a crunchy and distorted feel. On that song is Tar Lvng, unknxwn, and myself. I think we all really killed it.
I also have a song called “Where you at” that shows my softer and more melodic side. I’m quite versatile in production and in writing as an artist.
11. Are you signed to a record or label?
I am not. I’m fully independent.
12. Have you ever performed?
Yes! I just did a show in Decatur for about 100 people last Friday. It was CRAZY. I’ve been performing since July of 2021.
13. Who would you most likely collaborate with?
Honestly anyone that matches my drive and energy. I’m quite open to all genres and vibes. There’s no rules to music.
14. If you could open for any artist who would it be?
Opening for Russ would be crazy. That ideology definitely bleeds into my work and it would be great to connect with like minded people.
15. What’s next for you?
Well i just quit my job. My last day is this Friday. Time to go crazy on the music full time and give it the proper attention. I’m currently building my brand, fan base, and putting together my first tape.
