French Montana and Max B Reunite for ‘Wave Gods 2: Cosmo Brothers’ Tour

The Wave Gods are officially back in motion. French Montana and Max B announced Tuesday that they’re joining forces once again for a new collaborative project, Wave Gods 2: Cosmo Brothers, set to drop April 24th. But they’re not stopping at the music—the duo will hit the road for a 26-city North American tour starting May 24 in Albany, New York, and wrapping July 3 in Buffalo.

The itinerary reads like a victory lap through hip-hop’s heartland: Washington, D.C., Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Boston, and points between. For two artists whose chemistry has been tested by time and circumstance, the extensive routing signals confidence in their renewed partnership.

This marks their second major collaboration since Max B’s release from prison in November 2025. Earlier this year, they connected on Coke Wave 3.5: Narcos, with Max B explaining their dynamic to Revolt using a colorful metaphor: “When Voltron comes together… the Power Rangers, it’s like you need all them pieces to form the big s**t. So, it was just excitement, just getting back with bro.”

That enthusiasm apparently carried forward into the studio. The Cosmo Brothers subtitle suggests a deeper thematic exploration of their brotherhood, while the “Wave Gods” branding returns to the mythology they built during Max B’s pre-incarceration heyday.

For French Montana, the reunion represents a full-circle moment with the artist who helped define his early sound. For Max B, it’s a statement of resilience—turning prison time into productive collaboration rather than lost momentum.

Tickets for the tour will likely move quickly given the nostalgia factor and the genuine curiosity about how their chemistry translates to the stage after Max B’s extended absence. The May-through-July window gives them summer dominance at clubs and mid-size venues across the country.

Whether Wave Gods 2 captures the magic of their classic work or forges new territory remains to be heard on April 24th. But the commitment to a full tour suggests both artists believe they’ve struck something worth sharing live.
