Drake & PartyNextDoor Finally Release $ome $exy $ongs 4 U

After months of speculation, Drake and PartyNextDoor have officially released their long-awaited joint album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. The 21-track project landed on DSPs on Friday (Feb. 14), bringing smooth vibes and classic OVO energy.

One of the most talked-about songs from the album, “Gimme a Hug,” sees Drake reflecting on old drama:
“Drake elimination, fake intimidation/Take a minute, take a deep breath, have a little bit of patience.”

Drake also appears to take a jab at Joe Budden, rapping:
“Melyssa Ford, you a legend from The 6 hate to see you with a d**k sucker.”

The duo first teased the album last summer, with Drake telling fans to expect it once the weather got colder. Over the following months, they dropped hints, with the final confirmation coming earlier this month.

The album cover, featuring the Absolute World skyscrapers in Mississauga, was unveiled shortly before release. The pair also teased the track “Crying in Chanel.”

For Drake, this marks his first full-length release since his lyrical battle with Kendrick Lamar last spring. PartyNextDoor last dropped P4 in April 2023.
