Interviewer: Welcome, Warrick Moore. Can you share a bit about yourself and your origins?
Thank you. My name is Warrick Moore, but I’m better known as Cartier WOW in the entertainment scene. I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, but my roots spread across Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Mandeville, Jamaica. My father, a respected reggae artist, still resides in Jamaica.
Interviewer: Quite a journey. What’s your primary focus in the entertainment industry?
I’m a versatile artist involved in music, acting, and fashion.
Interviewer: How long have you been immersed in music?
Music has been my world since childhood. Growing up, I spent countless hours in the studio with my father and often joined him on stage. It’s been a lifelong passion.
Interviewer: Who are your main influences?
My father is a huge influence, along with legendary figures like James Brown, Bobby Brown, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Rick James. Their artistry and flair inspire me.
Interviewer: What’s your musical style?
My music blends elements of hip-hop, R&B, pop, reggae, Dancehall, and sometimes rock ‘n’ roll. I don’t like to confine myself to one genre; music is limitless.
Interviewer: Have you collaborated with other artists?
Not yet. Currently, I’m focused on building my own artistic identity, but I’m open to collaborations with like-minded artists in the future.
Interviewer: Who’s your dream collaborator, dead or alive?
The legends I’ve admired since I was young—James Brown, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Rick James.
Interviewer: Are you signed to a record label?
No, I operate under my own management company.
Interviewer: Do you seek a record deal?
Not necessarily. Many label deals aren’t artist-friendly nowadays. I prefer to find great partners and explore independent avenues, if possible.
Interviewer: Who supports you the most?
My family, friends, and sometimes strangers who connect with my music. Support can come from unexpected places.
Interviewer: Lastly, how did you come up with your stage name?
“Cartier” symbolizes hustle and luxury, while “WOW” introduces listeners to my unique world.
Interviewer: Thank you, Warrick Moore. What’s on the horizon for you?
More music projects are in the pipeline, so stay tuned!
