Bomalin Jayy Roc isn’t your average Southern rapper—he’s a storyteller. Straight out of Ludowici, Georgia, a place more known for quiet streets than loud beats, Jayy Roc has been laying down rhymes for over a decade with purpose, pain, and passion. What began as a therapeutic outlet turned into a lifelong mission: telling stories that matter, that feel, that hit.
His first unreleased album, Bomalin Life, laid the foundation for his artistry, but Heartbreaks & Betrayal on YouTube gave listeners their first taste of his emotional depth. Blending raw hip-hop with smooth R&B undertones, Jayy Roc’s sound is a reflection of the duality of the South—tough yet tender. Inspired heavily by the late Jason “Camouflage” Johnson, it’s no surprise Jayy Roc makes music with real meaning, often echoing pain, loyalty, and the pursuit of redemption.
Over the years, he’s built a solid catalog of collaborations, featuring names like 1WOP, Gutta G, Huncho 3x, and Sevn Vybez. And while he’s currently unsigned, he has his sights set on a distribution deal—one that will give him the freedom to keep his voice authentic while expanding his reach. His fiancée, family, and close friends are his biggest supporters, fueling his fire to continue creating.
Jayy Roc’s latest single “Jiggy With It” is already turning heads and setting the tone for his next project, Battle Tested, expected to drop mid-to-late July. With production credits from talents like 1WOP, Ben Powell, Wai, and Mattz, the soundscape promises to be both polished and personal.
Though he’s rocked crowds of 100-150, his dreams reach far beyond. Touring with someone like Rod Wave or performing overseas are ambitions he holds close—but he’s not rushing the future. As he says, “I live in the moment and take it day by day.”
