Reclaiming his throne on top and making it evident why he’s the prince of entertainment, artist and producer Razi is hot off the release of his latest EP, Heart Canvas III, where he showcases his natural talents and unique sound that his fans love him for.
Getting his start at a young age in Detroit, Razi came from a musical family, so it was only natural for him to build a career in the music industry. Beginning in a local Detroit studio selling beats and producing for local legends like Sada Baby and Ryan Destiny, Razi quickly found recognition in the local scene and is now the CEO of his own independent label in Atlanta, Melodic Island.
Razi has faced his fair share of challenges and setbacks in the industry. He’s never been one to include themes of guns or violence in his works; rather, he focuses on elements of R&B and love, which isn’t always appreciated in the space. To this day, some of the highlights in his career have been having songs that he mixed, mastered, and recorded in a bedroom find airtime on radio stations in several different states. Plus, he won “Song of the Year” at the Black Only Awards for his song, “Caddy Feet”.
